Creative Weekend in Applecross – March 27th-29th, 2026
A Relaxed, Fun Experience to Learn Screen Printing with Friends!

Escape to the stunning Applecross Peninsula for a weekend of creativity, relaxation, and fun! Whether you’re looking to unwind with friends or meet new people, this creative retreat is the perfect blend of hands-on screen printing, scenic surroundings, and delicious food.

What’s included:

• Transportation from Strathcarron for the 3:30pm Friday train and then to the 4:00pm Sunday train (if needed).
• Accommodation At the cosy Clachan Manse B&B. Stay in a charming annex, sharing a twin room with a fellow workshop participant. It’s even more fun if you book with friends, but solo travellers are also welcome! If booking solo, sharing may be required, or feel free to inquire about a private room.

Your Weekend Highlights:

Friday Arrival (March 27th)

• 4:30pm: Arrive at Applecross, settle in, and get checked in. Relax & unwind with a wine and cheeseboard at the Manse and get to know the group.
• 7:30pm: A delicious dinner served at the Manse: choose from a hearty beef stew or a cozy vegetarian chili, followed by pudding and drinks.

Saturday (March 28th): Creativity & Adventure

• 8:30am-9:30am: Start the day with a delicious breakfast at the manse, choose  between a full veggie or meat breakfast, plus pastries, yogurt, fruit, and cereals.
• 9.30am-11.45am: Free time to chill or explore the stunning Applecross.
• 12:00pm-4:00pm: Screen Printing Workshop! In the light-filled studio, we’ll dive into creating your own designs. If you have ideas, great! If not, no problem—choose from a catalogue of pre-made designs. I’ll guide you through the entire process, from design to screen preparation using UV light. Relax, learn, and enjoy the creative flow.
• 4:00pm – 7:00pm Free time
• 7:30pm: Dinner at the charming Applecross Walled Garden (just a short stroll away), with a £40 per person budget to treat yourself to delicious local food.

Sunday (March 29th): Printing & Personal Creations

• 8:30am: A tasty breakfast to start the day at the Manse.
• 10:30am-1:30pm: The grand finale of your screen printing experience! You’ll use your customised screen to print on handmade linen cushions, cotton tote bags, or a t-shirt —perfect keepsakes to take home!
• 2:30pm: Pack up and say goodbye with a packed lunch, as we head back to Strathcarron for the 4pm train.

A Few More Things to Know:

• This workshop is beginner-friendly! No artistic experience is required—just a desire to relax, chat with friends, and try something new.
• Dietary requirements? No problem! We can accommodate all preferences and restrictions—just let me know!
• Want a bit more flexibility? If you’d prefer a less structured experience, we can chat ahead of time and adjust the plan to fit your vibe.
• We can build in some yoga and/or an outdoor sauna experience into your package too – please ask for more details. Not included in price below.

Pricing:

• £395 per person for the full experience (accommodation, food, workshop, transportation, and all the fun!).
• £100 deposit to reserve your spot (with free cancellation before February 15th). After that, the deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance of £295 is due on arrival. Payment options include major credit cards, cash, or bank transfer.
